Martial Arts Master In! Mystery Man Out!

Nothing is truer in pro-wrestling then the old disclaimer that the card is subject to change. Fortunately, the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation has not had to fall back on that disclaimer too often as what we advertise is, generally, what goes down.
As we get closer to our July 11 AWF SUNDAY SHOWCASE card at Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby, travel conflicts, scheduling conflicts, injuries, and personal issues are trying their best to play havoc with our best laid plans however don't fear AWF fans as forced changes in the originally advertised card, many would say, only make us stronger!
As of this notice, because of a change to his schedule, our yet to be announced third competitor in our originally announced Three Way Dance for the AWF title will not be able to appear at Sunday Showcase. Since, his name was not yet released by AWF promoters this is not as big of a problem as it could have been. For the time being the AWF will let the identity of this mystery competitor remain a mystery with the hopes of being able to reschedule him on a future Apocalypse Wrestling Federation card.
So what does that mean to July 11th's AWF SUNDAY SHOWCASE?
Well, for one, obviously the main event match up will have to change. AWF Champ Jonny PUMA will still have to defend and he will have to defend, AT LEAST, against Pepper PARKS but since the main event match has not been finalized yet anything at all is possible at July 11's AWF SUNDAY SHOWCASE! The match could still possibly be a three way or other stipulation match as the jury is still out on that one but whatever type of contest it ends up being FIREWORKS are still guaranteed as the very popular Pepper PARKS looks to capture AWF gold for the very first time as he looks to humiliate PUMA one way or another!
Other additions and match changes have been made as we try to make sure that the AWF SUNDAY SHOWCASE will be the one wrestling card you want to make sure you attend this summer!
One such change will see Canada's Superhero Danny DYNAMIC go one on one with "The Asian Nightmare" Kwan CHANG while RJ CITY will pit his skills and rugged good looks against the brute force and frightening persona of The Unholy RyOT!
"I've waited almost a year for this!," Dynamic said when informed that he will now have the opportunity to seek revenge against CHANG after an incident which occurred last summer in the AWF which saw CHANG blind Danny with his green mist and therefore rob him of his chance of capturing the AWF gold last summer.
"I've had a year to sit back and think about it," Dynamic said. "On Sunday July 11 Kwan better be ready for the fight of his life as he will need to bring every martial art ever invented if he hopes to beat me this time!"
In addiiton to the previously announced match-ups Wrestlicious television star and world traveller PORTIA PEREZ "The Canadian Ninja" will go one on one with the luscious Cherry BOMB who is fresh off a blind date with WWE star Golddust (as seen on Monday Night Raw from Toronto)!
"The Joeverine" JOEY KNIGHT comes in from Tampa, Florida to square off against JACKAL in a battle of former AWF champions! The last time these two grapplers met was eight years ago in an AWF ring and, at that time, JACKAL walked away with victories over KNIGHT not once, but twice!!
"The Joeverine" promises a much different outcome this time as he swears that he is not coming all the way from Florida to lose!!
In a just announced match up the charismatic Kevin GRACE returns to the AWF and will go one on one with the other member of Les Titans, BISHOP!
AWF fans can look forward to a stellar match up when Grace and Bishop collide for the very fist time in any ring, anywhere!
And, in an AWF special attraction, wrestling fans can look forward to the debut of the aerial artistry of the sensational PEE WEE as he makes his much anticipated Apocalypse Wrestling Federation debut against the polished "Rock Star" James STONE.
Despite the juggling of the perceived main event championship matchup it's clear that Sunday July 11's AWF SUNDAY SHOWCASE truly features main events from top to bottom!
In addition to the 7 matches announced the AWF is expecting the return of the very popular "Club Studd" Tony MACK and the debut of the evil manager The GRAND WIZARD of WRESTLING JR. at AWF Sunday Showcase!!
It will be an afternoon of action, thrills and excitement for the entire family to enjoy in the beautifully air conditioned Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby!
The show will begin promptly at 2 PM with the doors to the seating area of the venue being open 45 minutes before belltime.
